Bonjour,  je m'apelle Cassandre, I'm a working artist.

What kind of artists am I? The kind that likes to dance, draw, paint, make digital art and songs, they call that interdisciplinary arts. I  I like to go down research rabbit holes and work on many projects at the same time. I am older than I look, a proud member of Gen X. Proud because as a Bostonian, my ability to give no f*cks is key to my process and dealing with the gatekeepers. I am my hardest critic, but I love what I do. I'm am  an artist, it's a real job.

From Corporate to the UNDERGROUND

I used to work in sales & marketing. I have worked in the corporate, non-profit, technical and merchandising sectors. I have been a marketing assistant, campaign manager, account executive and executive assistant.  After college was when guerilla marketing was born, became part of my daily life. I call it the Mad Men era of the mid 90s, before the .com bubble bust. It was from a hospital bed that I decided I should have been a ballerina, and told a doctor, "I'm going to do that.' Ten years later I have combined my creative skills combined with dance to make noise for social justice advocacy. I love to collaborate and cohort, see below for bragging rights. Come back for more of my story, there much more for you to know about why I do the arts.

Follow my journey-TIME based dance film journal. Thank you!
