(Cambridge, MA - January 10, 2024) The Dance Complex presents the next Reflection, Healing, and Movement Series event with Drawing Observations in Movement by Cassandre Charles with Charles & Moise Productions on February 5, 2024 at 6:00pm.

Drawing Observations in Movement addresses the parallel worlds of foundational technique in movement and visual arts practices. Participants will create a phrase for personal healing, journaling, or performance. Additionally, participants will build an 8-count phrase using Cassandre’s creative tools for neuro-divergent individuals like herself. There is no judgment or critiques, only nurturing of your creative soul. “Every: body, soul, and mind are eligible to join the vibration.”

Cassandre Charles is a dancer, visual artist, and heavily sought after fine arts model who has a deep obsession for ballet and a passion for visual arts. She combines the

foundations of these techniques to create choreography, paintings and drawings that reflect the healing agents of somatic movement. Recently discovering, during her low residency advisory meeting, she is a KINETIC LEARNER; she no longer apologizes for “moving too much.”

The Reflection, Healing, and Movement Series is a collaboration between The Dance Complex and artists from all corners of the world to present movement-based classes where mindful practice and wellness are at the forefront. For information on events, please visit dancecomplex.org/events.
